Healing from Childhood Wounds

LauraLee is radio host, a conference organizer, and a former Credentialed Substance Abuse Counselor and Certified Recovery Coach in the state of New York. She has healed from substance abuse, and is enrolled in Give Her Wings Academy studying domestic abuse advocacy.  We discussed healing from childhood wounds and how those wounds can affect marriage. We also talked about domestic violence and abuse in Torah Observant communities, and what leaders need to know to protect their flocks. We talked about how to find a counselor- Biblical, secular and/or licensed- who is trauma informed and qualified to help in instances of abuse.

You can find Laura Lee at Hebrew Nation Radio on her show Healing from the Nations with a Modern Day Samaritan Woman, and on her newest show by the same name on Heart of the Tribes.

LauraLee also shared the resources guide that she provided during the Good Samaritan Conference that she Hosted for leaders in the Torah Observant community. It provides resources on domestic violence, abuse, substance abuse, abortion, and more. You can download that here.*
